First Date?

Our good friends, Amy and Michael, welcomed their first child, Ryder, into the world on August 3rd. We went to their house on Saturday night to drop off dinner and for a quick visit. We put the babies on the floor together to take their picture. I forget how fast they grow in such a short amount of time. Camryn still seems small to me, but next to the 7-pounder, it is a big difference.
Ryder is absolutely precious and such a sweet baby. Congrats to Amy and Michael!

Go Dawgs!

David's first ballgame was Friday night. I was brave and decided to take Camryn. She's got to learn to love it sometime, right?
Luckily, the weather cooperated and it was a pleasant evening. Camryn loved the game. She people-watched most of the game - she is such a nosey little girl! She only slept about 1 quarter.
All in all, the night was a success. We made it through the entire game and Smyrna won. I was exhausted once it was over.
Here are some pics of Daddy's little cheerleader!

Got Giggles?

The camera is a little shaky but this just makes my day hearing her laugh!

Four Month Check up

Camryn went to the pediatrician on Friday for her 4 month check up (i still can't belive that much time has passed). She weighed 12 lbs. 13 ounces and is 24.5" long. She is rolling all over the place and attempting to get her knees up under her. David and I call this the "booty up" position (thanks, Aunt Trish, for the technical terminology). Dr. Lett thinks Camryn will be an early crawler but we will see. I can't believe it's already time to start thinking about baby-proofing the house. OMG - times moves so quickly!

Here's a new picture of Camryn chewing on her ymmuy feet! HA!

Hair Bows

So, I've never been much of a girly-girl but I think it is hysterical to put bows in Camryn's hair. Nothing over the top, but an occaisional clip is nice. David almost falls out - he thinks it is a little too girly.
I had to post these pictures as Camryn models her bows. I swear I did not make her pose in the top picture! We may be in for a long road with this little girl....What a little priss!

Learning New Tricks

Everyday is an adventure. I am amazed each time Camryn figures out something new. it seemed like the "lumpy" phase would never end. We just kept waiting for something to happen. Then, she found her feet. Who knew they were there??!!?

Camryn has an activity mat that we received as a shower gift. For a while, she would just lay there but now she LOVES to swat and kick at the fish.

A couple of weeks ago Camryn flipped from her tummy to her back. We thought it would be weeks before she figured out the reverse. NOT SO. This past Monday she started rolling from her back to her tummy. it has made for some adventurous naps and nights - she has gotten stuck a couple of times and woke me up in the middle of the night grunting in attempts to flip back over!

And her fingers....the yummy fingers! They are constantly in her mouth. I can't wait till she figures out that she can get her toes up to her mouth.

I can't believe it has already been four months. It has been exciting, exhausting, frustrating and fun all at the same time. Bring on more memories!
