even though our kitchen is still a hot mess, i thought i would share some photos. our cabinets were installed last friday. unfortunately, we will not have countertops until next thursday. ugh. over 2 weeks without countertops, sink & dishwasher. no fun.
but we’ve been making due. our microwave hasn’t been put back but right now, it is propped up on a bar stool. we've used an extension cord to plug it in. let's face it...we cannot survive without the microwave.
and we like to put our sunglasses up there, too. flat surfaces are sacred right now.
and where the countertops were ripped out, i’ve got some patching & sanding to finish up. but the lack of countertops does make for easy access into the drawers.
the whopping 30" of stove top is our only work surface. meal prep is getting interesting around here.
and the dishwasher is sitting in the middle of the floor.
our dining room table is currently serving as our countertop. it is piled high and i cannot wait to move it all back. disarray is not my gig.
but we have beautiful new cabinets. i love the extra height at the top. lots of organization going on. once it is complete, i might even show you the insides....watch out. i'm talking crazy now.
