visit with santa

the infamous visit with santa. 

last year we found a great strategy.  get up on saturday morning and be there when the store opens.  BAM!  very small line!  so worth getting out of the house a bit earlier than normal.  

today was the day.

because i love a good flashback {humor me}, here's our sweet girl with santa in

and 2011.

camryn was excited to see him.  she had been rehearsing her list....a teddy bear, a doc mcstuffens doll, and an airplane.  not sure what santa's going to do about that airplane.

we waited in line for a few minutes before he arrived.  you know my favorite part?  that santa comes out like a rock star.  hands in the air, waving to the crowd, kids squealing with excitement.  that's got to make the man feel warm and fuzzy inside.

before the children took turns to see him, he went down the entire line of kids and greeted them, shook their hand, and hugged them.  talk about magical.

 when it was camryn's turn she ran right up to him like they were old friends.
